Telegraph: Phobias may be memories passed down in genes from ancestors

An article in the Telegraph discusses research on mice which seems to demonstrate that experiences and learned responses can be passed on to future generation through genetic inheritance.

This adds a very interesting dimension to the understanding of our patients as psychotherapists.
