New DVD to Improve Understanding of Identity Disorders

First Person Plural is a" small UK-wide membership charity led by volunteers who have lived-experience of dissociative identity disorder (previously known as ‘multiple personality disorder’) or other childhood-trauma-related complex dissociative condition" and they have produced a DVD to educate health workers about the condition. You can buy it for £35.

A DVD aimed at raising awareness and understanding of complex identity disorders is released by a national survivor-led charity.
‘A Logical Way of Being’, developed by the charity First Person Plural, provides information about the primary features of Dissociative Identity Disorder (sometimes known as ‘multiple personality disorder’) and other similar conditions. The DVD looks at how such conditions can be caused by traumas experienced during childhood and examines the crucial role of psychotherapeutic treatment for such conditions.
