Psychological effects of the ongoing recession

Now that the recession is coming up for two years old, and seems here to stay, more and more studies are being published showing the psychological impact of the downturn.

A new study looks at the impact on people who have managed to stay in their jobs, but have seen colleagues lose their jobs. Those who are left behind are trapped in an environment full of uncertainty, but are too afraid to leave.
